Vidyalai is an Ed-Tech startup which provides personalised learning solutions and educational products to students across the globe. We cater primarily to the secondary and higher education market, which includes middle school, high school and college students. Through a video chat and a collaborative online whiteboard, our state-of-the-art online classrooms enable students from all over the world to learn directly from top tutors, without any constraints of geography. By cutting out the inefficiencies of travel and the need to set up expensive physical centres, we aim to make top quality education more accessible and affordable.

The Academic Associate position at Vidyalai is a highly impactful role where you would be working in developing educational products for K-12 (high school) students. The role involves both teaching and developing academic content. It requires a deep understanding of your subject(s) and a passion for teaching and pedagogy. We are working to bring in a paradigm shift in education and you would be at the forefront of driving this change.

Only candidates with excellent communication skills in English need to apply. Selected candidates should be comfortable with signing a 24 months service agreement with us.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a deep understanding of various international academic boards – International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge GCSE, etc – and develop academic content for the same

• Teach and mentor students online through the Vidyalai ed-tech platform to realize their learning goals – take 150 hours of one-to-one classes each month

• Train and onboard other teachers to the platform

• A strong academic track record in your subject (10th, 12th and college)
