Fundoo Tutor is growing its team of exceptional IB educators. We’re looking for an experienced IB Diploma Programme (DP) English Language & Literature / Literature tutor to teach one-on-one online classes to international students preparing for their IBDP examinations.
What you’ll do
- Deliver personalized, high-quality 1:1 tutoring for IB English (Language & Literature SL/HL or Literature SL/HL).
- Guide students through Paper 1 textual analysis, Paper 2 comparative essays, IO (Individual Oral), and HL Essay preparation.
- Strengthen students’ analytical, critical-thinking, and essay-writing skills.
- Track progress, share feedback, and help students achieve 6–7 scores.
Must-haves
- 2+ years’ experience teaching IBDP English (Lang & Lit and/or Lit).
- Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria, command terms, and marking rubrics.
- Proven track record of helping students excel in written assessments and orals.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Reliable internet connection, digital pen/tablet, and comfort using Zoom or similar platforms.
Nice to have
- IB certified training (Category 1/2) or experience teaching in an IB World School.
- Experience supporting IA/EE (Extended Essay) guidance ethically.
