Position Summary
This is a part-time seasonal position for Summer School for the 2026/27 school year (Multiple vacancies) – up to 5.5 hours per day plus mandatory meetings and trainings.

At the time of hiring for Seasonal positions, the District shall designate the proper placement of the individual on the appropriate salary/wage schedule based on the employee’s experience, qualifications, and other relevant pay equity factors. District employees hired for seasonal positions that are not in the employee’s current classification shall be paid pursuant to the classified salary schedule for the position. The employee will be placed on the step corresponding to the employee’s experience. Consideration will be given to all internal District candidates, considering seniority.
Minimum Requirements for the position require you to meet Highly Qualified status, defined by the state of Oregon, ORS 581-037-0006. Documentation For Highly Qualified Status
Official or Unofficial transcripts with your name, showing 2 years of post-secondary study consisting of 72 credit hours or 48 semester credits. OR Obtaining an associate’s or higher degree (attach diploma) OR Meeting a rigorous standard of testing through a formal state or local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (attach test scores).
These positions will assist the teacher in a Grade 1-5 classroom with curricular activities. Assist in the supervision of students during enrichment and recess activities.
