Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design (specialization or certification in Gaming Design preferred)
- Strong Gaming Design skills
- Design teaching or tutoring experience is required (U.S. High School experience preferred)
- Fluency in English
Experience: min. 5 to 7 years
Preferred Experience:
Present or past course building (design and development of content) for an online provider in Design, Gaming, or related domains
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing support to the team and the stakeholders by identifying the requirements for developing robust high school Gaming design courses as part of the Electives course curriculum.
As a SME, you will focus on research, analysis, solving critical challenges, and providing solutions based on your expertise. You will be working with the Lead Instructional Designer, Curriculum Director, and/or Project Managers to conduct research and provide support related but not limited to identifying, recommending, and authoring:
- course format and structure;
- standards bodies, learning goals, and required course materials and resources;
- prerequisites that students may require for the target course;
- course units, topics, and lessons;
- original lesson content and media elements; and
- assessment (traditional and performance-based tasks) and projects.
