Company Description Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology (SUIET), Mukka, Mangaluru, is a constituent institute of Srinivas University dedicated to engineering and technology education. Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Teaching Faculty position based at SUIET, Mukka, Mangaluru. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for assigned engineering and technology subjects, in accordance with the institute’s academic regulations and curriculum. The faculty member will prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment instruments, and evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and projects. Responsibilities include mentoring and advising students on academic and career matters, supporting co-curricular activities, and contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement. The role also includes engaging in research or scholarly activities, participating in departmental and institutional committees, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance overall program quality.

The initial interview will be held virtually on 10th June 2026. We prefer candidates who are willing to relocate to Mangalore to apply for the post. Further rounds will be held in Mangalore, where in-person presence is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (e.g., M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or technology discipline from a recognized institution in AIML/AIDS/CSE; Ph.D. or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is preferred.
• Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant engineering specialization, with the ability to teach core and elective courses at the undergraduate level; postgraduate teaching experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including clear communication, learner-centered pedagogy, effective classroom management, and ability to use examples and applications to explain concepts.
• Ability to integrate practical and laboratory work with theory, supervise student projects, and guide students in mini-projects, internships, and industry-oriented activities.
• Competence in using educational technologies, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), presentation tools, online teaching platforms, and basic productivity software.
• Interest or experience in research, publications, consultancy, or innovation activities; ability to contribute to research groups, conferences, or applied projects is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, collaboration with colleagues, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student community professionally and inclusively.
• Commitment to academic integrity, continuous professional development, and adherence to institutional policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., UGC/AICTE norms where applicable).
• Good proficiency in English for teaching and academic communication; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
