Role Description This full-time, on-site Culinary Instructor for QSR role is based in Gurugram. The Culinary Instructor will design and deliver practical training sessions for QSR kitchen staff, focusing on standard recipes, cooking techniques, safety, hygiene, and speed of service. Responsibilities include demonstrating cooking and baking methods, monitoring adherence to standard operating procedures, and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. The role involves creating training materials, conducting skill assessments, and providing constructive feedback to team members and supervisors. The Culinary Instructor will collaborate with operations and store management to support new outlet openings, implement menu updates, and reinforce best practices in kitchen efficiency and food cost control. Qualifications
Strong foundation in Culinary Skills and Cooking, with hands-on experience in a QSR or fast-paced kitchen environment.
Proficiency in Baking and related preparation techniques relevant to QSR-style menus and products.
Experience in Culinary Management, including standardization of recipes, portion control, and kitchen workflow optimization.
Demonstrated Training experience, including planning, delivering, and evaluating skill-based culinary training for diverse teams.
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to QSR operations.
Ability to communicate clearly, give structured feedback, and adapt teaching styles to different learning levels.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple training schedules and documentation requirements.
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in chain QSR brands or multi-outlet food operations is preferred.
