Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at SGV University, located in Jaipur. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, preparing and updating curricula, guiding students through academic and research projects, and contributing to the department’s growth. Additional responsibilities include participating in seminars, conducting research, publishing papers, collaborating with peers, and supporting students’ academic success.
Qualifications
- Subject-matter expertise with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in the relevant academic discipline
- Teaching skills, including curriculum development, lecture delivery, and student engagement strategies
- Experience with academic research, paper publishing, and contributing to conferences or scholarly discussions
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and leadership abilities to guide students and support departmental goals
- Proficiency in using technology and e-learning tools for educational purposes
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree candidates may also be considered depending on experience)
- Prior teaching in HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) is highly desirable
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
- Industry experience will be an added advantage
