Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor – Operation Theatre Technology role based in Indore. The Assistant Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions on Operation Theatre Technology, including OT procedures, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, and patient safety protocols. The role involves preparing lesson plans, developing learning materials, assessing student performance through exams and practical evaluations, and providing academic mentoring and career guidance. The faculty member will support curriculum development to align with current clinical and industry practices, participate in academic committees, and contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes. The role also includes coordinating with clinical partners for internships or clinical postings and promoting a safe, ethical, and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications
Strong academic background in Operation Theatre Technology, Anesthesia Technology, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Sound knowledge of OT procedures, surgical instruments, sterilization and infection control, anesthesia support, and perioperative patient care.
Prior teaching, training, or clinical mentoring experience in an academic or hospital setting is highly desirable.
Ability to design and deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, simulations, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
Effective communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to support diverse learners.
Comfort with basic digital tools for teaching, student evaluation, and academic record-keeping.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, continuous learning, and collaboration with academic and clinical teams.
Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards for healthcare and allied health education is an advantage.
