Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Coding Tutor. Responsibilities include teaching coding courses to young learners, guiding students through hands-on programming activities, and fostering an engaging and student-centered learning environment. The tutor will also provide personalized feedback, track student progress, and ensure learning goals are met.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Scratch
- Strong understanding of coding concepts and ability to teach programming fundamentals to beginners
- Excellent communication and teaching skills for engaging with children
- Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with young learners
- Experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related field preferred but not required
