Job description: Applications are invited from eligible and highly motivated candidates for the position of Research Associate-III in an Indo-Swiss Joint Research Project entitled “Using millet-legume model intercropping systems to establish mycorrhiza-facilitated bioirrigation in dryland agriculture”

Fellowship: ₹. 67,000 per month + 20% HRA (Total: ₹. 80,400 per month), or as per DBT, Government of India norms
Essential qualification: Ph.D. in Agriculture / Agricultural Microbiology / Crop Physiology / Soil Science, subject to DBT, Government of India norms.
Desirable experience/skills: 2–4 years of experience in soil microbial science/soil science/ plant science/ molecular biology with UGC/ICAR NET qualification; design and analysis of pot and field experiments; excellent writing and presentation skills; and a proven track record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Willingness to travel as required for the project, experience in project management, and teaching/research supervision will be desirable.
Duration of the position: Approximately 10 months or until the completion of the project period, i.e., 24 February 2027, whichever is earlier.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 40 years for male candidates and 45 years for female candidates as on the last date of application, or as per DBT, Government of India norms.
