Position Overview
The Head of Academics will provide strategic leadership and direction for the institution’s academic ecosystem, ensuring excellence in curriculum delivery, faculty development, academic operations, student achievement, and educational innovation.
This role demands a visionary academic leader capable of strengthening institutional standards, implementing progressive educational methodologies, and fostering a culture of academic integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership & Strategy
· Lead the development and execution of the institution’s academic vision, goals, and strategic priorities.
· Drive academic excellence through innovative teaching methodologies and outcome-based learning frameworks.
· Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and periodic enhancement aligned with national and international standards.
· Develop academic policies, systems, and quality assurance mechanisms.
Faculty & Institutional Development
· Lead faculty recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
· Foster a collaborative academic culture focused on innovation, research, and student-centric learning.
· Mentor academic leaders and teaching staff to enhance instructional effectiveness and academic outcomes.
Academic Operations & Quality Assurance
· Ensure smooth execution of academic calendars, examinations, assessments, and institutional academic processes.
· Monitor student performance metrics and implement interventions for academic improvement.
· Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, educational regulations, and institutional policies.
· Introduce technology-enabled learning solutions and academic best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Build strong relationships with educational boards, institutions, industry experts, and academic partners.
· Represent the institution in academic forums, conferences, and strategic collaborations.
· Provide regular academic performance reports and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
· Master’s Degree / PhD in Education or relevant discipline.
· Minimum 10–15 years of experience in academic leadership and institutional management.
· Strong understanding of curriculum design, faculty leadership, and educational compliance frameworks.
