Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Science Teacher. The Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons in various scientific disciplines, including Physics and Mathematics, aligned with the school’s philosophy of fostering inquiry-based learning. Responsibilities include creating detailed lesson plans, conducting hands-on experiments, evaluating student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities. The role also entails mentoring and inspiring students to pursue lifelong learning and intellectual curiosity in the sciences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in teaching Science disciplines, particularly Physics and Mathematics
• Experience in Science Education and developing effective Lesson Plans
• Certified as a Qualified Teacher with a strong academic background in education or related fields
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for inspiring students to engage in hands-on learning and critical thinking
• Familiarity with inquiry-based or experiential learning approaches is a plus
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related discipline (a master’s degree is an advantage)
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators to create interdisciplinary experiences
