Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Mohali for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry. The PGT Chemistry will develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with academic standards while fostering critical thinking and scientific curiosity. Responsibilities include instructing students in theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry, conducting laboratory experiments, evaluating student progress, and maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge. Additionally, the PGT will collaborate with the academic team to create a conducive learning environment and mentor students for competitive exams.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Chemistry and Laboratory Skills
- Developed Analytical Skills, crucial for problem-solving and data interpretation
- Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) to promote innovative thinking and learning
- Excellent Communication skills for effective teaching and student engagement
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field; a teaching certification or degree is preferred
- Experience in teaching chemistry at the high school level, with familiarity in state and national curriculum standards
- Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment
