Role and Responsibilities

1. Fluency in error free reading, writing and speaking of Tamil

2. Experience or interest in teaching of this language at school level

3. Ability/ interest in learning to understand how children learn in this

language and the nuances of the script

4. Ability and interest in creating digital content in learning this language for

grades 1 – 9

5. Ability to work with a team of content creators/ translators to ensure high

quality and error-free content for the platform

6. Ability to communicate and document thoughts, processes and reports in

a coherent and cohesive manner

7. Ability to understand and analyse the question behaviour, uptake and

child’s ability to answer the question accurately and correctly

8. Great aptitude, logical and analytical thinking

Must have

Education

• BA or MA/ MSc in the mentioned vernacular language
• Bachelors (B.el.ed/ B.ed) / Masters (M.ed/ MA Education) / PhD in

education with specialization in language pedagogy

• MA/ BEd/ PhD in Languages/ Linguistics
• Experience in teaching of the mentioned vernacular language

Experience

• Fresh graduates and postgraduates with no prior experience and a zeal to

contribute in the field of education are welcome to apply

• 2 – 4 + years of experience in the field of education, have worked closely

with teachers or teacher trainers and students will find the job interesting

• Candidates having prior content creation experience
