This is a Business development role, growing regional revenue by satisfying customer needs, maintaining good relationship with the customers, and ensuring their needs are met timely by gaining the loyalty.
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for Structuring and orchestrating deals to meet our revenue goals and Identifying Potential Strategic Alliances and Acquisitions that Will Support Strategic Growth Initiatives and Expand the Business for the education vertical in India.
- Responsible for Creation and Tracking of Sales and Collections: Budget & Achievement (variance if any to be tracked).
- Responsible for Execution of Sales Plan in alignment with the CUP India and Vertical’s (Including promotions and reach agenda)
- Responsible to support sales function effectively and ensuring sales capability building for the vertical in India.
- Responsible to Supplement pipeline by completing lead generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches.
- Responsible to conduct workshop for affiliates with stipulated intervals.
- Responsible to handle local compliance
- Responsible to coordinate with marketing team and head branding & promotion on behalf of the organisation.
- Responsible for Post Sales client relationship management.
- Responsible to Log in to Salesforce to capture activities on daily basis.
- MIS Reporting – Monthly and Quarterly.
- Undertaking Additional Tasks/projects/initiatives that Contribute to Team/organization Growth.
Knowledge and Experience
- Must have solutions selling experience in education domain
- Must have two years of experience in Education Publishing or Digital products business on the sales side
- Excellent interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills.
- Able to travel extensively
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with Top management.
- Should have good presentation skills
- Should have a strong understanding of the Education Market in India and stay updated with market trends.
- Should be a strong networker & relationship builder.
- Must be a target-oriented person.
- Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
- Must have managed annual sales budgets and collections comparable in scale to Education verticals India budgets.
- Experience of working in a matrix organization will be an advantage.
