Step Up Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Chemistry Faculty member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons that cater to the needs of students at various academic levels.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to facilitate student learning and achievement.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them succeed academically and develop a deep understanding of chemistry concepts.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, techniques, and technologies to enhance the learning experience and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the chemistry department.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum and instructional practices.
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching skills and stay abreast of current educational trends and research.
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution (Ph.D. preferred).
- Previous teaching experience at the high school or college level, with a proven track record of student success.
- Strong knowledge of chemistry principles, theories, and applications across various subfields (e.g., organic, inorganic, physical chemistry).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans and instructional materials that promote active learning and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software tools to enhance teaching and learning (e.g., interactive whiteboards, learning management systems).
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects and values the contributions of all students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and academic success.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹80,000.00 – ₹100,000.00 per month
