Position: Physics and Chemistry Teacher

Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience; preference for candidates with IIT teaching experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physics and Chemistry: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Physics and Chemistry for [grade levels] students. Focus on building a strong foundation in these subjects to prepare students for competitive exams and further studies.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards and objectives. Incorporate innovative teaching methods to make learning more effective and enjoyable.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate students’ understanding and progress. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and disciplined learning environment. Address students’ academic and behavioral issues promptly and effectively.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Act as a mentor to students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals. Prepare students for competitive exams like IIT-JEE, NEET, etc.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, school staff, and parents to enhance the overall learning experience. Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Communication Skills: Utilize excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely. Foster an open line of communication with students and parents regarding academic progress and areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in Physics and Chemistry education. Participate in professional development programs and workshops to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a related field. A B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Physics and Chemistry.
• Experience teaching at IIT level or familiarity with IIT curriculum is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful student outcomes in standardized and competitive exams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with educational technology and e-learning platforms.
• Ability to conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance understanding.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
