Job Description

As a Learning & Performance (L&PD) Manager, you lead and drive all Learning and Performance Development (L&PD) solutions connected to learning, performance and leadership development in the region, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This is achieved by ensuring seamless integration and implementation of global L&PD strategies at regional and market level.

You will represent your region in Group / Global projects and initiatives, actively contributing insights and best practices to the global community.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Launch Strategy

  • Implement H&M Group global strategies for L&PD on a regional level, integrating them seamlessly into the business strategy in collaboration with regional stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the learning & performance development processes

Manage Learning & Performance Development team

  • As a part of the Regional HR Team, you oversee people and leadership development programs, including facilitating learning programs, to secure a holistic training approach that supports all functions within the region.

Group L&PD community

  • Partner with L&PD Community of Expertise to share best practice and drive continuous improvements across the group.

Collaboration/Stakeholder management

  • Provide guidance and support to HR business line and organizational leaders in how to support them and the colleagues to develop their skills (including leadership skills) and performance.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders and HR to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Budget and measurement

  • Collect, analyze, and measure L&PD data across personas and functions. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, strengths, and areas for growth.

Qualifications

As the L&PD manager, we believe you are a people person who has a passion for how we can continuously develop our people and business through innovative learning initiatives, performance enhancement and leadership development. In addition you have the following to be successful in this role :

  • Formal education within the HR field (or similar)
  • 5+ years of strategic L&PD leadership experience and in a people leadership role
  • Prior experience of developing learning strategies, learning frameworks and coaching leaders is required. Knowledge and experience of Retail industry is preferred.
  • Success in completing a L&PD needs analysis 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise-wide Performance improvement 
  • Experience with various Leadership models and Adult learning theories

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Regional Head of HR for India.

This position is based at the Support Office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and requires existing permit to work in India.
