Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Provide direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings, utilizing intensive teaching and natural-environment training methods.
- Implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Assist with parent and caregiver training according to the client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about client progress.
- Employ safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Support Lead Behavioral Technicians, Behavior Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists by preparing client materials as instructed.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, including clients, parents, caregivers, and external professionals.
- Enhance and update technical knowledge by attending required training sessions.
