Job Description
- Teach commerce to students in grades 11 and 12, using a variety of instructional methods and materials
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in accordance with the school curriculum and academic standards
- Assess and grade student work, providing feedback and guidance to help students improve their understanding of the subject
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents and other teachers as needed
- Mentor and advise students on academic and personal matters, and participate in extracurricular activities as assigned
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in commerce education, and incorporate new developments into the curriculum as appropriate
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a positive school culture and support student success PGT Commerce
