Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Teach courses on supply chain management, logistics and operations management
- Develop course materials such as syllabi, lectures and assignments
- Conduct research in the supply chain field and publish findings in journals and case studies
- Advising: Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters. Supervise graduate students research projects and theses.
- Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities, including committee work, curriculum development, and outreach programs. Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives within the department.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of Supply Chain Management through ongoing research, professional development, and engagement with industry practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D or Master degree in B in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and research. Previous experience in a faculty role or a strong record of relevant industry experience is desirable.
- Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct high-quality research, as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals and successful grant applications.
- Teaching Ability: Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Experience developing and teaching online or hybrid courses is a plus.
- Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.
