1. Knowledge of art history and different art genres in order to teach a range of art styles
2. Ability to communicate concrete and abstract concepts to students, Ability to spot and cultivate creativity
3. Understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting, mono-printing, and other arts as per the syllabus
4. Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipment
5. Evaluate each student’s performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understandings, and prepare progress reports.
