Job description
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing rules and procedures.
- Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the different ability range within their class.
- Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities.
- Stay up to date with the change in structure of curriculum as per CBSE.
- To be responsible for the course completion, assessment (setting of paper, correction, report writing), collection of evidences of learning for their respective students and meeting parents.
- Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive student development.
- Discussing feedback of the students with the parents in meetings held time to time.
- Prepare classroom for class activities.
- Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development.
- Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students development.
- Adhere to all the policies in force or introduced from time to time and actively implement the same.
- Perform any other task assigned by the Principal/School authorities to ensure smooth functioning of the Department and school.
