Operations, skills trainer; teaching on site – at school, outside

The outdoor school for girls, at school, outside, is a program of Going to School where Teachers/Skill Trainers will be going to government schools and teach diverse skills to 5th to 10th grade students.

School is open and we’re actively recruiting for full-time, part-time, paid volunteer positions to teach girls skills to solve climate change in grade 5-10 in government schools across the city.

The outdoor school for girls teaches girls in grade 5-10, life, digital, STEM sustainable enterprise skills to solve for climate change (and football) six days a week in government schools.

This is not a remote opportunity. It is not office based. Your office, playing field, pitch, are government schools, whatever the weather, outside, rain or shine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Going with teams to schools to see how we do it and once you learn the content and how to deliver, you’d be on site in schools every you can and every day they are open.
  • Learning and knowing the content, being able to teach in local languages and also teaching girls how to code, you’d also be part of the team that runs surveys across the schools, writes success stories and collaborates for volunteer visits.
  • Reporting on skills outcomes using technology is a core part of the role.

  • Walk-in interview in Bangalore Office on 18th July 2024 from 10am to 4pm. Current Salary and notice period and what time slot you prefer i.e. 10am to 1 pm then 2pm to 4 pm.
