Job Title: Logistics and Supply Chain Trainer
Location: SSN College of Engineering, Chennai.

Job Overview:
SSN College of Engineering is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Logistics and Supply Chain Trainer to join our esteemed Department of Management Studies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industry experience and a passion for teaching, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students in the field of logistics and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design, develop, and update comprehensive curriculum and training materials for logistics and supply chain courses.
Ensure the curriculum meets industry standards and aligns with the college’s academic goals.
Teaching and Training:
Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on various aspects of logistics and supply chain management.
Utilize modern teaching methodologies and tools to enhance student learning and participation.
Student Assessment:
Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student understanding and progress.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
Industry Collaboration:
Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations to facilitate guest lectures, internships, and placement opportunities for students.
Stay updated with the latest trends and practices in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Research and Development:
Engage in research activities related to logistics and supply chain management.
Publish research findings in reputed journals and present at conferences and seminars.
Mentoring and Guidance:
Provide academic and career counseling to students.
Mentor students on projects, internships, and other academic activities.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other college activities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and college through active involvement in quality assurance processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software and tools.
Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting techniques.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Certifications:
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are an added advantage.
