Overview The Telecaller plays a crucial role in our Edtech organization as they are responsible for contacting potential customers and promoting our online educational services. This position is vital in driving sales and expanding our customer base. The Telecaller contributes to the growth and success of the company by effectively communicating the value of our products to prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers to explain our offerings
- Persuade potential clients to enroll in our educational programs
- Handle inbound calls from interested individuals and provide detailed information about our courses
- Follow up with leads and set appointments for further discussions
- Maintain a database of potential and existing clients
- Meet or exceed targets for lead generation and customer conversion
- Provide excellent customer service and address any queries or concerns
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads
- Keep abreast of product knowledge and updates to effectively pitch our programs
- Document all call information in the CRM system accurately
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Telecaller or similar customer service role
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and persuade with a positive attitude
- Active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns
- Solid understanding of sales techniques and pipeline management
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs and CRM software
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Marketing or relevant field is a plus
- Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in the Edtech industry is preferred but not mandatory
