**Job Description: Travel Trainer (5 years experience, IATA Certified)**
**Overview:**We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Trainer who is IATA Certified to join our dynamic team. As a Travel Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to our staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the travel industry. Your expertise and guidance will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Training Program Development:**   

– Develop training materials, modules, and resources tailored to various aspects of the travel industry, including booking systems, customer service protocols, destination knowledge, and regulatory compliance.   
– Update training materials regularly to incorporate industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices.
2. **Training Delivery:**   
– Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for new hires and existing staff.   
– Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees to enhance their performance and development.   
– Utilize multimedia tools and training aids to enhance learning outcomes.
3. **IATA Certification Support:**   
– Serve as a subject matter expert on IATA regulations, procedures, and standards.   
– Prepare employees for IATA certification exams through comprehensive training and mock assessments.   
– Stay updated with IATA guidelines and ensure compliance within training programs.
4. **Performance Evaluation:**   
– Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance evaluations, and knowledge assessments.   
– Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. **Industry Liaison:**   
– Foster relationships with industry partners, including airlines, hotels, and travel agencies, to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.   
– Collaborate with external trainers and consultants to provide specialized training as needed.
6. **Documentation and Reporting:**   
– Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and employee progress.   
– Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management to evaluate training outcomes and return on investment.
**Requirements:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Education, or a related field.
– IATA Certification (must have).
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry, with at least 2 years in a training or instructional capacity.
– Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
– Strong understanding of travel booking systems, GDS platforms, and customer service protocols.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Flexibility to travel occasionally for training purposes.
– Proficiency in MS Office and training software/tools.
