Qualifications and Requirements:

1) Professor of repute in the specific field, eligible as per norms of UGC/other statutory bodies, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Academic Administration.

2) Candidates with proven experience in academic administration at a senior level such as Head of the Department or an equivalent position will be preferred.

3) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in University / college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC criteria.
