Job summary

As the Senior Manager, Content, you will be crucial in leading our content creation process, driving the development and delivery of lessons for the App. This role is pivotal in enhancing user retention and lesson engagement through high quality and engaging content, process and quality management and effective team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building systems and processes while maintaining high quality and must have prior team managing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify target audience needs and learning objectives. Develop a comprehensive curriculum outline that includes extensive vocabulary, grammar, in a highly engaging manner after discussing with Educators.
  • Develop and deliver detailed SOPs and training programs for educators and content team to ensure high quality content gets created without much review / rework.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards across all processes, ensuring content is error-free and pedagogically effective in retaining and engaging end users. Personally QC every piece of content that goes on the App, to ensure there are no errors.
  • Ensure the app interface is intuitive and enhances the learning experience. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing content team capable of meticulously generating high quality content at speed and scale.
  • Work closely with the tech team to enhance internal content delivery tools, drive efficiency in the content team’s outputs and reduce manual errors.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes, decisions, and changes for future reference.

Key Qualifications required:

  • 4+ years of experience in driving operational excellence in a tech first company or extensive experience in program management, management consulting.
  • Strong team management skills with experience in managing diverse teams. Proven track record of strong analytical skills and structured thought process.
  • Technical aptitude with an understanding of app development and content integration processes is preferred.
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and comfortable with operating in ambiguity Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
  • The ability to summarize and present complex topics effectively to a wide audience. Experience in organizing and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in content strategy and management, preferably within the education technology or language learning industry is preferred.
