Position Overview:
As a Sales Trainer at Vedantu, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our
sales team by equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and strategies to
excel in their roles. You will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive
training programs that focus on sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry
trends within the edtech sector. By leveraging your expertise in sales methodologies
and educational technology, you will enable our sales professionals to effectively
communicate the value of our products and services to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales training curriculum tailored to the
needs of the edtech industry, including but not limited to:
● Sales techniques and strategies.
● Product knowledge and features.
● Understanding customer needs and pain points.
● Effective objection handling and negotiation skills.
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires, as well as
ongoing training and development programs for existing sales team members.
Collaborate with sales leadership and subject matter experts to identify training
needs and prioritize learning objectives based on market dynamics and product
updates.
Create sales training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning
modules, to support various learning styles and preferences.
Utilize a variety of training methodologies, such as role-playing, simulations, and
case studies, to reinforce learning objectives and ensure practical application of
concepts.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys,
and performance metrics, and continuously iterate on content and delivery
methods to drive improvements.
Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to sales representatives to enhance
their sales skills, confidence, and performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging
technologies in the edtech space to incorporate relevant insights into sales
training initiatives.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
● Proven experience in sales training or sales enablement, preferably within the
edtech industry.
● Strong understanding of sales methodologies, such as consultative selling,
solution selling, or challenger sales.
● Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and
motivate learners of varying backgrounds and experience levels.
● Experience with instructional design principles and e-learning development tools
is a plus.
● Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and
adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
