Job Description:
We are looking for UPSC Academic Counselor who is responsible for providing academic guidance to aspirants preparing for the UPSC examinations while actively promoting and selling counseling services and study materials. This role combines the responsibilities of academic counseling with a sales-oriented approach to attract and retain candidates seeking support for their UPSC exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Guidance: Provide personalized academic counseling to candidates, understanding their needs and guiding them through the UPSC examination preparation process. Assist candidates in formulating effective study plans, strategies, and resource recommendations to optimize their chances of success.
- Sales and Promotion: Actively promote counseling services, study materials, and other offerings to potential candidates through various channels, including online platforms, seminars, workshops, and direct outreach. Engage with prospective candidates to understand their requirements and effectively communicate the benefits of counseling services and study materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential candidates, providing ongoing support, assistance, and follow-up to ensure their satisfaction and retention. Address candidates’ queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally to enhance their experience and loyalty.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets for counseling services, study materials, and other related offerings within specified timelines. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and lead generation initiatives to drive revenue growth and meet sales objectives.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities in the UPSC examination preparation segment. Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies, product offerings, and promotional activities to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with other team members, including academic counselors, marketing professionals, and administrative staff, to ensure cohesive and effective sales and service delivery. Coordinate with internal departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and optimize the overall customer experience
Qualifications and Skills:
1.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
2.Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the education sector or related industry.
3.Knowledge of the UPSC examination pattern, syllabus, and selection process is advantageous.
4.Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
5.Strong interpersonal abilities with a customer-centric approach.
6.Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.
7.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
