The Coordinator will report to the designated Team Leaders (Faculty recruitment, academic integrity, faculty support and scheduling) and give support in the day-to-day operations of managing university faculty. In addition to the daily support to academic queries from faculty and student advisors, the coordinator also works with others to collaboratively mediate and resolve faculty, curricular, and student issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing operational support to leadership, faculty, and staff, you ensure that administrative tasks are taken care of so the university can achieve its main goal:
- Answering faculty emails; providing responses to routine inquiries, reminders, and disseminating advice on a variety of topics such as points of contact, job/task reminders, learning management system queries and refreshers, general pedagogy and course advice.
- Provide support to the Faculty Recruitment team to manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for the UoPeople administrative staff, full-time instructors, volunteer instructors, and other roles
- Supporting day-to-day activities of the Academic Integrity team and promoting the core value of academic integrity and personal conduct And Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant UoPeople policies and procedures.
- Working closely with Different department of University to ensure effective communication with students regarding Academic Integrity violations and how to avoid them.
Minimum Qualification:
- A minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited Institution
- 2-5 years previous working experience in academic operations and administration, in a higher education setting.
- Experience with HRIS, CRM, database and productivity tools.
- Fluent in English with at least a B2 proficiency for oral and written English on the CEFR scale
Other skills:
- Strong organizational skills: a self-starter capable of working independently while also being a team player.
- Effectively use time management to prioritize daily tasks and long-term projects
- Excellent computer and technology skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
