Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities of Headmistress
- Motivating the teachers and ensuring that the quality of work and creativity is maintained.
- Checking logbooks, registers, observation books, report cards.
- Planning and organizing Special Days Festivals/Events
- Finalizing budgets and execution of Events
- Organising field trips.
- Handling and maintaining a record of weak children
- Image building of the school-Annual Day and Sports Day and all other events
- Evaluating teachers lessons and guiding them and preparing their report cards
- Sending event snaps and write up (received from Head office) to press and newspaper for publicity.
- Curriculum Implementation designed by Head Office
- Handling Inquiries and Meeting admission targets.
- Organizing publicity for admissions.
- Organising Parental meetings and workshops.
- Conducting training for teachers.
- Maintenance of the school area.
- Coordinating with the Class IV employees.
- Coordinating with parents.
- Maintaining confidential reports of teachers.
- Designing and ordering I-cards
- Handling bus, uniform and book complaints despite separate persons being in charge.
- Fee Collection
- Handling Staff and Parental concerns
- Procurement of Centres Requirements like stationaries, housekeeping materials, teacher reference material and equipment etc
- Sourcing of the suitable candidate for teaching/non-teaching positions
- Maintaining files and records
- Maintaining social media pages and accounts of the respective centre
- Attending seminars/workshops (as and when required
- Protecting the brand and promoting it.
- Any other duties assigned by the Head office/Management
Requirements of Headmistress
- Appropriate degree and teaching qualification
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm and creative
- Excellent English Language, communication skills with students, colleagues and parents
