International College located in Abu Dhabi, UAE invites international applications for the position of Assistant Professor & Program Manager in Emergency Medical Care (EMC). The position reports to the Head of Health & Medical Sciences (HMS), and joining date will be from Fall Semester of the coming Academic year 21/22. Joining date will be on 26th August 2021.
The ideal candidates for this vacancies will have a D. in Emergency Medical care / Emergency Medical Services.
WITH minimum 3 years full-time teaching experience in a reputable university.
The Assistant Professor/Program Leader – Emergency Medical Care Program will be responsible for teaching EMC program courses effectively and HMS courses assigned by the Head of HMS Department, enhancing the EMC program performance, providing academic advising and counseling to students, participating in departmental committee work, enhancing the learning environment through assessments, instructions, applied research, scholarly activities and services that are consistent to the mission of the College.

Package
OPEN ENDED CONTRACT JOB
Single Contract available for Female.
Single or Family Contract available for Males.
Monthly Salary. From 28 000- 32 000 (AED) per month. (Salary offered according to experience)
Housing allowance: Included in the above monthly salary breakdown.
Schooling allowance: 10 000 AED per child annually (for up to 2 children below the age of 18 years, residing in the UAE).
Health & Medical Insurance: For employee, spouse and up to 3 children under the age of 18 years, residing in the UAE)
Flight tickets: Upon arrival in the UAE and joining the employee will be reimbursed for flight ticket. Annual 2-way flight ticket to and from home country.
42 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one months salary for each year worked.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
D. in Emergency Medical care / Emergency Medical Services.
Professional certificates in the Emergency Medical Care/ Emergency Medical Services are required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years full-time teaching experience in a reputable university.
Clinical / field experience in a relevant educational setting (or equivalent combination of teaching in other settings may be considered).
Adequate knowledge of Professional Standards and Certification bodies within the field.
Experience in clinical simulation labs is an advantage.
LICENSE:
Must have Registration in Home Country at a Professional Registering Body is (for Applicants residing out of UAE).
Applicants residing in UAE must have HAAD /DHA license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English.
