Why do we need this role?

NAB Innovation Centre, India has a robust Learning sub-function under People and Culture function to support NAB India colleagues learning requirements. This role will play a key role in supporting execution of NAB India L&D strategies to ensure our colleagues are clear, capable and motivated in their roles. This role is responsible for:

  • Driving world-class learning interventions in accordance with NAB Group governance, processes and standards
  • Identify learning gaps and design and enable deployment of bring in best L&D practices based on feedback and recommendation basis Kirkpatrick model of Learning
  • Measure training impact / effectiveness of all training programs and take counter measures
  • Deliver training sessions on behavioral competencies as per L&D strategy including scheduling, launching learner surveys etc.
  • Responsible for Learning Dashboard and drive automation wherever possible to track attendance, metrics to generate program scorecard for participants
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to plan program activities & ensure great learner experience.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs by collating program data, generate relevant insights to communicate
  • Collaboration with broader NICI P&C function to ensure alignment across core P&C initiatives

What and how is it expected to contribute to results?

  • Work closely with the L&D Lead to identify gaps and develop learning solutions/ initiatives that comply with NAB Group governance, processes and standards, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, accessibility, solution quality, and business impact.
  • Vendor Management (empanelment, identification, evaluation, purchase order-invoice-payment governance)
  • Evangelize digital learning through all learning solutions offered (Self-Service)
  • Work closely with all internal teams for the smooth execution of training programs
  • Ensure training records; budgets are updated for audits and metrics reported monthly
  • Explore automation, data-driven and digital approaches to augment learning operations

  • Successfully develop and implement ROI based learning initiatives that have a measurable impact against business metrics.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in leading mid to large scale initiatives that execute against desired business outcome
  • Demonstrated experience in end to end development and deployment of learning solutions catering for multi-modal delivery including face-to-face and digital offerings.
  • Demonstrated experience in contemporary design practices including human centered design and modern learner best practice approaches
  • Demonstrated experience in learning-based strategic thinking and strategy development
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and management contributing to the realization of strategic outcomes through learning solution development

Essential capabilities

  • Understanding of Learning and Development Strategy and methods
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices. Proficient in MS Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver multi-modal solutions that cater for modern learner best practice (digital, virtual, social etc.)
  • Skilled in project delivery with the ability to set objectives, develop and manage project plans, manage risks, and evaluate success.
  • Adept in stakeholder management to engage senior stakeholders, understand their needs, and manage expectations.

Other capabilities

  • Experience with developing learning solutions for start-up businesses
  • Added advantage –Experience of working with Australian counterparts and an underlying understanding of Australian cultural norms

Qualification Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Management, Education or Organizational Psychology
