Position – Director School of Communication.
Responsibilities
- Providing academic and administrative leadership and guidance to teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Harness and develop relationship with important stakeholders.
- Responsibility for ensuring compliance of all statutory obligations of relevant government bodies.
- Supervise all matters relating to curriculum and instruction in the University, including outreach and extension courses and scheduling;
- Oversee faculty and academic staff development activities;
- Strengthen research and educational programs
- Develop active and effective Program Advisory Committee;
- Responsible for preparation and conduct of various inspections and accreditation events.
- Facilitate development and implementation of academic strategic planning;
- Evaluate faculty, assess classroom effectiveness and correct observed deficiencies.
- Coordinate periodic academic program review and work with HOIs in the review, study, and development of curriculum and in the improvement of instruction.
Qualifications
- Ph.D from leading institutes or Equivalent Education.
- Around 18 years of experience with impeccable track record of Managing an Institution.
- 5+ years’ experience in management
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills.
