Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a School Administrator at Delhi World Public School – Hooghly. The School Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative execution, communication with staff, students, and parents.
Responsibilities
1. Administrative Leadership:
– Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to support the overall mission and goals of the school.
– Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Oversee the implementation of school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and conducive educational atmosphere.
2. Operations Management:
– Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, facilities, and resources, to optimize efficiency.
– Monitor and assess operational processes, implementing improvements as needed.
3. Financial Oversight:
– Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage the school budget effectively.
– Ensure proper financial controls are in place and adhere to budgetary constraints.
4. Student and Parent Engagement:
– Foster positive relationships with students and parents, addressing concerns and maintaining open communication channels.
– Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and community engagement activities.
5. Curriculum Support:
– Collaborate with academic leadership to support the implementation of curriculum initiatives.
– Stay informed about educational trends and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the school’s educational programs.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
– Proven experience in school administration.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Familiarity with educational technology and administrative software.
