We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our esteemed institution as the Dean of Students Welfare. The Dean will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and supportive environment for students, ensuring their well-being and overall academic success.

Position: Dean of Students Welfare/Deputy Dean of Students Welfare

Location: Geeta University, Panipat

Salary – No bar for suitable candida

Responsibilities:

Student Support:

Provide leadership and direction for the development and implementation of student support services.

Act as a point of contact for students facing challenges and concerns, offering guidance and support.

Counseling and Mentoring:

Oversee counseling services; ensuring students have access to resources for academic, personal, and career development.

Foster mentorship programs that connect students with faculty and industry professionals.

Student Engagement:

Develop strategies to enhance student engagement in extracurricular activities, clubs, and events.

Collaborate with student organizations to create a vibrant campus life.

Conflict Resolution:

Mediate and resolve conflicts among students, promoting a harmonious campus environment.

Work closely with relevant stakeholders to address disciplinary issues.

Health and Wellness:

Implement initiatives to promote physical and mental well-being among students.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address student health concerns.

Academic Success:

Collaborate with academic departments to monitor student progress and intervene when necessary.

Implement initiatives to enhance student success and retention rates.

Policy Development:

Develop and update policies related to student conduct, well-being, and support services.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to create a student-friendly campus culture.

Liaise with external organizations and community partners to enhance student opportunities.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree; a Ph.D. is preferred.

More than 5 years of experience in student affairs or related areas.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic community.
