Clinical Evaluation:Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.

Formulate differential diagnoses based on clinical findings.

Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.

Diagnosis and Treatment:Make accurate diagnoses of medical conditions.

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.

Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and preventive healthcare measures.

Disease Management:Manage chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.

Coordinate care for patients with multiple medical issues.

Emergency Care:Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.

Stabilize critically ill patients before transferring them to specialized units.

Consultation and Referral:Collaborate with other medical specialists for complex cases.

Make referrals to specialists when necessary.

Patient Education:Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans.

Provide guidance on preventive care and healthy living.

Medical Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and recommendations.

Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.

Continuing Medical Education:Stay abreast of the latest medical research and advancements.

Attend conferences and workshops to update medical knowledge.

Quality Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Implement evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.

Leadership and Supervision:Provide guidance to junior medical staff, residents, and medical students.
