Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Career Counselor located in Mumbai. The Career Counselor will be responsible for day-to-day career counseling, development and management activities, student counseling, and communication with students and parents.

Mental health, as a broad topic is so complex and nuanced. All of us need to to spread awareness and education about mental health, especially in school settings. We need to teach students, parents and teachers the language of emotions & mental health, not just in the context of academic objectives but in an end of its own, as we attempt to raise the next generation of humans! 

There’s so much more to life than success, careers, wealth, fame and power! 

We are disconnected with ourselves when we ONLY pursue those and need a total reset, reboot, wake-up call, or a jolt of reality before it is too late!!  There are systemic issues surrounding the larger conversation about mental health. People in leadership & power need to be held accountable by those of us who know/understand the complexity of mental health. Our continuous advocacy/ creative initiatives will eventually create sustainable changes!

We are also.looking for an individual with 5 to 7+ years experience as Head of Department

Qualifications

• Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management skills
• Experience in Student Counseling and effective communication
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Additional certification in Career Counseling or a related area is preferred
• Experience in the education industry is a plus
