Job Description

Were urgently seeking a passionate English Language and English Literature teacher for a secondary school in Macau. 

Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of English and Literature
• Possess competent classroom management, educational planning, and student follow-up skills
• Incorporate a variety of teaching and learning approaches including strategies for differentiation, teaching ESL students, and inquiry-based learning
• Communicate frequently and constructively with parents
• Communicate with appropriate colleagues and administrators regarding school’s expectations regarding academic, behavioural and moral standards 
• Cooperate with colleagues and show due diligence in planning and other paperwork
• Show creativity in lesson planning, departmental activities and school-wide activities  

Requirements

• Teaching qualifications OR any bachelor’s degree in education (PGCE/PGDE preferred)
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a school
• IGCSE and IB knowledge an advantage
