Key Responsibilities
Content Development:
Provide support in content development for all programs, specifically for foundational years and early learning for age group of (3-6 and 6 -8 years)
• Develop high quality content and educational frameworks aligned to national policies and curriculum frameworks.
• Develop educational content and materials for children, parents/caregivers, educators, community.
• Work closely with program team to oversee content delivery.
• Organize content workshops and work closely with the creative team to design the content.
• Develop assessment tools for children and AWWs, checklists for monitoring for ECCE projects etc.
• Supervise a team content and curriculum specialists to deliver on project goals.
Knowledge and Asset management
• Ensure knowledge and assets management for all available education content.
Needs Assessment/Formative Research
• Design appropriate formative research and tools toevaluate content eficacy
• Manageallformativeresearchincollaborationwiththe content, program and other teams.
• Develop RFP for research, manage research agency and work in collaboration to develop
research design, tools and data analysis as well as report writing.
Training
• Develop training modules and manuals for identified target audience.
• Conduct training AWWs/Master trainers/teachers on content/curricula as per project
requirements
• Conduct training workshops to build the capacity of field staff and others to ensure impactful content
delivery at the programmatic level.
• Train external master trainers, develop SOW, as required.
This job requires moderate travel to program areas for formative testing, training and evaluation.
• Essential requirements
o Master’s degree or equivalent experience in childhood studies, early childhood education, child
development or related fields
o Prior experience working with young children (3-6, 6-8 years) with solid knowledge of their
developmental milestones.
o Minimum 12 – 14 years of experience in content development for young children, including
development of curriculum and educational frameworks.
o Experience with media, art and culture forms, including mass media, digital media, alternative forms
of media and their use with children.
o Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
o The incumbent is required to be available five times (Monday to Friday) a week, for full working day
duration (9 AM-5 PM) during the period of association.
o Expertise in foundational learning and ECCE
o Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
MIS or other database management systems
o Strong writing skills especially in preparing reports, and presentations.
o Excellent interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills in English. o Creative thinker and problem solver.
