Key tasks:

– Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of ICT curricula of different school and examining boards (Middle, secondary and senior secondary levels) and programming languages ( coding, Java, Python and HTML.).

– Educational reforms and research: Have a thorough understanding of the various education reforms/policies with relevance to ICT. Research and review newer pedagogies and apply them in creating learning resources

– Author(s): Hire competent authors, freelancers and SMEs to create content suitable to the market needs.

– Curriculum design : Design curricula and blue prints for various school boards in coordination with authors and SMEs and in accordance with the syllabus guidelines

– Content Analysis: Analyse content for authenticity and language accuracy and map to grades and learning outcomes. Assist/mentor authors and SMEs in strategizing and creating new teaching -learning resources ( textbooks, e-learning modules /digital assets such as animations, games, interactivities, teachers’ guides and assessments) to engage students and support teachers.

– Market developments: Monitor relevant market developments and competitors to ensure that we learn and respond appropriately.

– Manuscript to press: Ability to work efficiently with authors, SMEs, designers, illustrators, pre-press and production teams, follow workflow processes and ensure seamless uploads of files for

Printing as per the agreed timelines.

– Quality Assurance: Review and validate content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency with established industry standards.

– Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for internal teams on ICT products. Conduct workshops and intervention/interaction sessions for teachers both offline and online.

Qualification and Prerequisites:

– Post graduation degree in ICT/ physical sciences: maths and physics/ Engineering degree

– Strong passion for content development, organization, and management

– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

– Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of content

– Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) tools is a plus

– Proficiency in utilizing multimedia content tools is advantageous

– Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment

– Teaching and publishing experience will be an added advantage
