#Role: English curriculum manager

XSEED Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Curriculum Specialist to join the English academic team. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator, adept writer, and English language teaching (ELT) expert, with a keen interest and proficiency in crafting educational materials for teachers and students of grades 1–8. The role involves creating high-quality teaching-learning content for an English curriculum, both for traditional classroom settings and digital platforms.

#Responsibilities

1.  Design daily lesson plans for teachers, incorporating clear instructions, accurate explanations, practical resources, and effective classroom activities

2.  Create engaging print materials for students aged 6–14, including grade-appropriate texts (fiction and non-fiction), grammar and writing guidelines, application tasks, and assessment tools

3.  Develop digital content for classroom and home-based use, such as scripting educational videos and interactive practice games/exercises to enhance the learning experience

4.  Participate in a rigorous peer review process to adapt/improve existing content to ensure the achievement of learning outcomes, alignment with latest pedagogical trends, and integration of innovative teaching practices

#Qualifications–Essential

●   BA or MA in English or a related field (e.g., Language & Literacy, Linguistics, ELT, Literature)

●   At least 2 years of curriculum development experience in a quality academic publishing or ed-tech organization

●   At least 2 years of English teaching experience in a progressive school

●   Excellent language and writing skills

●   In-depth understanding of the science of reading

#Qualifications–Desirable

●   TESOL/CELTA/B.Ed/M.Ed certification

●   Strong research skills to ensure accurate and up-to-date academic content
