Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to join our retail team. The Sales Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our sales staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales training.
Responsibilities:
- Training Development:
- Develop and update training programs for sales staff, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and industry best practices.
- Create training materials, manuals, and multimedia visual aids.
- Train sales staff on effective sales techniques, customer engagement, and relationship-building strategies.
- Conduct role-playing exercises and simulations to enhance practical application of learned skills.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and product developments to ensure up-to-date product knowledge training.
- Train staff on handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
New Hire Onboarding:
- Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions for new sales team members, introducing them to company policies, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Facilitate product knowledge sessions to ensure a deep understanding of optical products.
Performance Measurement:
- Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Regularly assess the performance of sales staff and provide constructive feedback.
TNI:
- Collaborate with store managers, Area managers, and other stakeholders to understand specific training needs.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, preferably in the optical or retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, and retail sales strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse sales team.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and multimedia training tools.
- High level of adaptability to evolving business needs and market trends.
