About the Office of Alumni Engagement
The Office of Alumni Engagement at the ISB creates and leads initiatives and events to engage with the school’s alumni. It also collaborates with various internal stakeholders such as Research Centre Institutes, faculty, and other departments to further the cause of effective alumni engagement.
About the position
The ISB is seeking applications for Manager, Alumni Learning. The incumbent will be responsible for conceiving, strategizing, and executing learning interventions for ISB’s alumni. They will be expected to have an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership of successfully implementing the designed interventions. They must possess strong communication and strategy skills and be uncompromisingly committed to quality. The position holder’s work location will be the Hyderabad Campus of the ISB.
Key responsibilities for this position
- Collaborating to build lifelong learning programmes from 0 to 1: Understanding the learning needs of the alumni and collaborating with stakeholders and departments, including Executive Education and ISB studios, to enable the building of bespoke lifelong learning programmes.
- Strategizing and executing learning interventions: Ideate and execute in-person and virtual learning interventions, such as speaker sessions, webinars, etc.
- Driving increase in uptake of offerings of existing courses: Strategizing and leading interventions to increase uptake of existing executive education courses among the alumni.
- Creating and disseminating content: Developing and disseminating communication products pertaining to the lifelong learning programmes and other learning interventions for alumni and internal audiences
Candidate profile
Ideal candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset and a keen interest in product & programme management while possessing outstanding oral and written communication, strategy, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated prior work experience in envisaging and leading similar programmes will be a plus.
Desired education and experience
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, including acumen to convey information effectively verbally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience; an ability to establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the campus and with alumni
- Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, exercise good judgment, and work independently as well as collaboratively
- Good to have: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as Mass Communication, Journalism, Alumni Relations, Product Management
