*Responsibilities and Duties*
– Participate in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
– Implement circle time and work time activities and routines
– strong Knowledge of the previous working in Montessori, Reggio Emilia or inquiry based curriculum
– Prepare classroom materials, participate as needed in classroom organization, classroom routines, and maintenance.
– Communicate with other teachers about the students’ needs.
– Effective communication with families and co-teachers
– Effective written and oral communication skills
– Ability to meet physical requirements of the position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities.
– Work with a team of teachers to provide a high-quality preschool program
– Track student attendance, prepare assessment reports and student portfolios.
– Provide administrative support as needed.
– Maintain general classroom cleanliness
