Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Plan and execute joyful, rigorous lessons on team sports and health and fitness that give scholars hands-on experience and practice
- Create systems for and monitor student safety in gymnasium, locker rooms and outdoors
- Maintain an active athletic program that promotes good sportsmanship and student development
- Ensure that KIPPs academic standards are reinforced through the districts athletic programs
- Facilitate a relationship with MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association)
- Performs any other related duties as assigned by the regional Manager of Student Support Services or other appropriate administrator
- Of the job and are not meant to be all inclusive
- Adapted Physical Education Teachers are expected to develop, update and adhere to both a daily and weekly schedule
- Preferred candidate profile
Desired Candidate
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or any Bachelor’s Degree with a Diploma in Education or Masters in Education
- 2-3 years minimum of teaching experience
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills
- Candidate must be ready to relocate and work in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, United Arab Emirates
- Candidate must be ready to travel in March 2024
- Age is 22 to 35 years old
- IELT minimum of 6.5 scores is an advantage
