Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive content & influencer marketing strategy that aligns with the Unacademy brand and vision, define marketing objectives, and target audience.
  2. Work closely with business teams to identify upcoming Educators across categories and select suitable opportunities to grow their online presence.
  3. Conduct research to identify potential category influencers who align with our brand and target audience. Initiate outreach, negotiate and close good deals with influencers.
  4. Create engaging and informative content for YouTube and other social media channels, to enhance Educator brand awareness and increase organic reach.
  5. Oversee content production and distribution processes, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery of content on owned YouTube channels.
  6. Device measurement metrics to track growth in outputs based on the content and influencer marketing efforts undertaken.
  7. Collaborate with the other teams (Brand, PR, Media) within the marketing team to develop integrated campaigns that leverage content across different channels and
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing, particularly in the YouTube and digital media space, and implement innovative ideas to enhance our content strategy.
  9. Manage budgets, work with the legal and finance teams to maintain vendor relationships and contract clearance related to content creation and distribution, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience of at least 6-8 years in content and influencer marketing, with good exposure to YouTube marketing, media management, and organic content creation.
  3. Strong leadership skills and experience working with influencers and content creators
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different channels and target audiences.
  5. Familiarity with social media platforms, digital advertising, and email marketing.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and optimize content strategies.
  7. Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative content marketing campaigns.
  8. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
