Job Description

Minimum Education Qualification and Work Experience: Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B.Arch., with a minimum of 60 per cent marks and three years of relevant professional experience. Or, they must have a Bachelors Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B. Arch, and a Masters Degree in Architecture or allied subjects of Architecture with a minimum of 60 per cent marks at either level with one year of relevant professional experience.

Undertake research-led teaching at different levels of undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes

Proactively respond to student concerns and queries (within and outside the classroom)- maintain office hours on a weekly basis

Design, develop and offer modules/electives within your area of expertise

Play a significant role in reviewing course outline and ensure teaching quality among co-faculty
Develop innovative approaches to learning and provide timely feedback and assessment of coursework and examinations

Supervise students undertaking research projects as appropriate

Develop and deliver course material, curricula and syllabi

Develop question banks for assignments and assessments within the subject area

Assess, review and evaluate student activities and progress

Proactively employ the highest quality standards for teaching-learning as benchmarked by the University

Research and Consultancy

Publish quality research papers and articles in journals of national and international repute

Publish articles and books with reputed publishers

Undertake sponsored research projects and consultancy from funding agencies and industry

Academic Administration

Contribute to developing academic policies of the University

Coach, advise and mentor teaching assistants, and colleagues
